Role Summary

Job Description 1. Skill Development: o To create a culture of continuous improvement by implementing and standardizing the systems and enhancing the skills of people. o To train and coach others in the organization in OE principles, Lean/Six Sigma tools and skills. o Implement DMAIC approach for problem solving by making people capable of resolving the issues on their own. o Facilitation to OE project teams/ CI Project teams as needed (PDCA/DMAIC) 2. Process Optimization & Simplification o To measure the process periodically to identify trends in qualitative & quantitative data to draw business conclusions by reducing variations and waste from the process. o Evaluate the bottleneck operations to improve the efficiency of the process. o Identify and implement the measures to bring down the production cost. o Evaluate the training processes to increase the effectiveness on shop floor. o Should have experience of implementing SMED, OEE, TPM tools to improve the efficiency. o Has exposure for inventory management model in Engg. 3. Data Governance o Assist the team in Goal Setting Process to identify suitable KPIs & Projects. o Identify the KPIs from each function and set up a mechanism of structured review & escalation as per desired hierarchy levels. o Set up a Project governance structure for effective monitoring and tracking of the progress. 4. Networking & Collaboration o Collaborates with other OE practitioners from industry or site network to share and replicate best practices and key OE learnings. 5. Change Management o Set up a model of Operational Excellence across the organization by implementing necessary elements of OE to standardize the systems. o Effectively influences others to embrace change and overcome change resistance with the support of leadership team. o Set-up a standardized reward strategy to enhance the CI culture at site.

Educational Qualifications

Required Education Qualification: M.Sc
Required Experience: 18 - 20 years
