Role Purpose

The Team Lead – Commercial – Sales Admin is responsible for managing and optimizing the administrative and operational backbone of the pharmaceutical sales function. This role ensures seamless execution of sales processes, field force operations, incentive management, documentation, and compliance adherence. By streamlining workflows and supporting field teams with accurate data, timely resources, and clear communication, the role enables efficient sales execution and supports the achievement of business objectives.

Job Responsibility and key Decisions

Sales Force Administration

Manage onboarding, transfers, exits, and record maintenance for the sales team in coordination with HR.

Maintain master data for field force hierarchies, territories, and reporting structures.

Incentive Operations

Coordinate monthly and quarterly incentive processing, including data validation, target verification, and payout summaries.

Liaise with finance and HR for disbursement and audit readiness.

Travel Claim Management

Oversee the process of travel expense submissions, validations, approvals, and escalations.

MIS Field Data Support

Generate and distribute regular performance reports, call averages, coverage summaries, and activity trackers.

Leave Attendance Coordination

Monitor field force attendance data, manage leave records, and ensure alignment with policy norms.

Field Communication Circulars

Act as a point of contact for field force queries regarding policies, processes, and updates.

Distribute and archive official communications and policy updates.

Territory Alignment Changes

Support territory reassignments, hierarchy changes, and related system updates during realignments or restructuring.

Policy Compliance Audits

Ensure adherence to SOPs and support internalexternal audits by providing required documentation.

DecisionMaking Responsibilities

Approve fieldlevel admin exceptions as per delegated authority.

Recommend process automation or improvement in administrative workflows.

Ensure alignment of all admin tasks with company policies and compliance standards.
