Company Overview

Role Purpose

The Team Member – QC is responsible for performing routine and non-routine laboratory analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, intermediates, finished products, and stability samples to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory and internal standards. The role involves working in adherence to GMP, GLP, data integrity, and safety requirements, supporting timely batch release, and maintaining lab records in line with regulatory expectations.

Job Responsibility and key Decisions

Perform routine analysis of raw materials, packaging materials, inprocess samples, intermediates, and finished products as per approved specifications and test procedures.

Carry out stability studies and support compilation of stability data.

Maintain and calibrate instruments like HPLC, GC, UV, pH meter, balance, etc., and notify the supervisor of any issues.

Record test results accurately and completely in lab records, complying with GDP and data integrity principles.

Follow SOPs and safety protocols strictly while handling chemicals, instruments, and samples.

Participate in method transfers, method validations, and verification activities as applicable.

Report any OOSOOT results, deviations, or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Ensure proper sample handling, labeling, and storage according to SOPs.

Maintain the laboratory in a clean and orderly state ensure proper disposal of waste.

Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and clarifications.

Assist in the preparation and revision of SOPs, test procedures, and protocols.

Attend mandatory GMP, safety, and technical training sessions regularly.

Notify abnormalities or issues in test results or equipment but does not take independent critical decisionsescalates to supervisors or leads.

Follows decision trees or preapproved instructions for common lab events e.g., sample retesting due to spillage.

May recommend equipment maintenance or retesting needs but does not authorize changes independently.
