Ownership of Visual Inspection Operations
a. Lead the execution and management of visual inspection processes to detect defects and ensure product quality.
b. Ensure that visual inspection methods are scientifically sound, validated, and aligned with industry best practices.
c. Oversee the identification, classification, and documentation of defects, ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Leadership Team Management
a. Manage and mentor a highperforming visual inspection team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in daily operations.
b. Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement within the inspection team.
c. Ensure team members receive ongoing training and development to stay updated on regulatory and procedural requirements.
Compliance, Documentation Regulatory Adherence
a. Ensure full compliance with cGMP, FDA, EMA, and other regulatory requirements related to visual inspection processes.
b. Prepare, review, and approve Standard Operating Procedures SOPs, batch records, and inspection protocols.
c. Support internal and external audits, ensuring that inspection operations meet all quality and safety requirements.
Process Optimization Defect Trend Analysis
a. Implement process improvements to enhance defect detection accuracy and minimize false rejection rates.
b. Utilize datadriven approaches, including defect trend analysis, to proactively identify and resolve recurring quality issues.
c. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement riskbased approaches for defect classification and disposition.
Equipment Facility Management
a. Oversee the operation, qualification, and maintenance of automated and manual visual inspection systems.
b. Ensure equipment calibration, validation, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance.
c. Work with engineering and maintenance teams to upgrade inspection technology and implement innovative solutions.
CrossFunctional Collaboration Stakeholder Management
a. Act as the primary liaison between manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory teams to ensure alignment on inspection standards.
b. Collaborate with packaging, labelling, and device teams to ensure inspection criteria are wellintegrated into the product lifecycle.
c. Engage with external partners and technology providers to assess advancements in visual inspection methodologies and best practices.
