Job Responsibility and key Decisions

Assist in routine maintenance and calibration of process instruments and automation control systems.

Support troubleshooting of faults in PLCDCSbased automation systems and field instrumentation.

Help execute loop checking, IO testing, and signal verification during system commissioning or upgrades.

Maintain logbooks, calibration records, and equipment status tags as per regulatory guidelines.

Assist in the installation and configuration of transmitters, sensors, HMIs, and control panels.

Participate in execution of minor change controls, software patching, and backuprestore activities under supervision.

Follow all EHS standards during electrical and instrumentation work in classified or hazardous areas.

Respond to breakdowns or alarms that impact system control or data acquisition in manufacturing or utility areas.

Coordinate with validation and QA teams during equipment qualification and periodic reviews.

Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and storage of tools, test instruments, and calibration devices.

Key Decisions

Escalating critical faults or outofspec conditions in automationinstrument systems.

Identifying and reporting gaps in documentation or calibration status.

Ensuring the correct use of standards, test equipment, and tools during instrumentation work.

Verifying that work performed is properly documented and compliant with SOPs and GMP.
