Company Overview

Role Purpose

To support the development, optimization, and execution of formulation and drug product processes for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical candidates. This role involves hands-on experimentation, data documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and scalable formulations that meet quality, stability, and regulatory requirements throughout the drug development lifecycle.

Job Responsibility and key Decisions

Formulation Process Development

Assist in designing and preparing formulations liquid, lyophilized, oral, or parenteral based on target product profile.

Support preformulation studies, including solubility, compatibility, stability, and pH optimization.

Conduct experiments for mixing, filtration, filling, and lyophilization, including preparation of labscale and pilotscale batches.

Assist in freezethaw, stress, and degradation studies to understand product stability and critical parameters.

Process Characterization

Execute smallscale studies to define and optimize critical process parameters CPPs and link them to critical quality attributes CQAs.

Support preparation of scaleup and tech transfer documentation, including process descriptions, batch records, and protocols.

Data Handling Reporting

Record and analyze data using appropriate tools Excel, JMP, Minitab.

Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and records ELNs in compliance with internal standards.

Contribute to technical reports, presentations, and regulatory documentation.

Compliance Lab Support

Follow all relevant GxP, EHS, and SOPs while executing experiments.

Ensure proper handling of materials, equipment calibration, and maintenance.

Participate in equipment qualification and troubleshooting activities.

Choose suitable experimental conditions, material quantities, and formulation parameters based on protocols and prior data.

Identify and report any abnormal results, trends, or deviations in formulation or process studies.

Recommend followup experiments or modifications under guidance from supervisors or scientists.
