Role Summary

1 Smooth operation of Effluent Treatment Plant including MBR operation . 2 To ensure effective trouble shooting for operation related problems. 3 Observe variations in operating conditions and interpret meter readings and tests results to determine load requirements. 4 To fill the log sheets and checklists as described in the procedure for audit. 5 To maintain the inventory of chemicals and to ensure proper unloading and storage of the goods procured. 6 Monitoring of the flowmeters and reporting the same to the superiors when there is variations or error in the flowmeter. 7 Coordinating with the engineering team related to maintenance issues or breakdown of the equipment's. 8 Sampling the effluent at different stages and analyzing to check the efficiency of the plant such as pH, COD, DO, TDS, TSS, MLSS, VFA and alkalinity. 9 Maintain the pH in the Primary Clarriflocculator and dosing of the coagulants to remove the TSS. 10 Preparation and dosing of chemicals, coagulants and adding urea, DAP to the Aeration Tank. Registers to be maintained for the chemical usage. 11 Operating of Biological system by maintaining the flowrate and temperature and dosing of the nutrients. 12 Circulate the sludge from the clarifiers to the aeration tanks and maintain the MLSS and also remove the excess sludge from the aeration tank. 13 Operation of the Centrifuge to remove the sludge. Dosing of the polyelectrolyte to be done for the centrifuge to obtain the cake with minimum moisture. Registers to be maintained for the same. 14 Maintain the final discharge of the ETP in the required pH, TSS and COD range. 15 To ensure the proper segregation of waste. 16 To check the effluent sump status. 17 To follow the established policies and Procedures and to adhere to safety norms defined. 18 To ensure good housekeeping in the plant. 19 Support to other specified activities and participation in EHS systems. 20 Give directions to wastewater-treatment-plant attendants and sewage-disposal workers in performing routine operations and maintenance.
