Company Overview

Role Purpose

The Team Member – Quality – QC – Analytical is responsible for performing and supporting routine and non-routine analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements. The role ensures the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of test results to support product release and stability programs. The team member operates and maintains laboratory instruments, documents results meticulously, and actively participates in laboratory investigations, ensuring consistent compliance and contributing to the continuous improvement of QC processes.

Job Responsibility and key Decisions

Perform Analytical Testing

Execute routine and nonroutine analytical tests on raw materials, intermediates, finished products, and stability samples.

Ensure all tests are conducted according to validated methods and SOPs.

Data Recording and Reporting

Accurately record test data and observations in lab notebooks or electronic systems.

Report results to QC Lead or Supervisor for review and approval.

Maintain Laboratory Equipment

Perform calibration and preventive maintenance on instruments as scheduled.

Report any equipment malfunctions or deviations promptly.

Sample Management

Receive, label, and handle samples in accordance with quality and safety procedures.

Ensure sample integrity through proper storage and documentation.

Support Investigations

Assist in preliminary investigations of deviations or OOS results by gathering data and performing retests if required.

Participate in root cause analysis activities as assigned.

Compliance and Safety

Follow all safety protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and biohazardous materials.

Adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Continuous Improvement

Suggest improvements in laboratory processes and workflows.

Participate in training and competency development sessions.

DecisionMaking Authority

Make decisions related to daytoday laboratory work such as sample prioritization and troubleshooting minor equipment issues under supervision.

Escalate critical quality or safety concerns to the Team Lead or Supervisor immediately.
