Role Purpose

Team Lead-RND-Analytical Sciences-Physico Chemical Characterization: Monitors the assessment of physical and chemical properties of substances. Responsibilities include designing and executing advanced experiments, monitoring development activities, experiment reviews, analyzing stability, molecular structure, and ensuring data aligns with product specifications and regulatory standards. The role emphasizes enhancing characterization methods to support product development and biosimilarity assessment through cross functional collaborations. Duties also include conducting and/or review of experiments for method development, qualification and transfer to different functions. Adherence to good documentation and data integrity practices.

Job Responsibility and key Decisions

Lead the physicochemical characterization of pharmaceutical products, including analysis of stability, solubility, particle size, and crystallinity.

Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for assessing the physical and chemical properties of drug substances and products.

Oversee the planning and execution of experiments, ensuring timely and accurate data collection for regulatory and internal requirements.

Collaborate with RD and formulation teams to support product development, stability studies, and troubleshooting.

Mentor and guide junior team members in the use of analytical techniques and regulatory compliance.

Ensure all analytical processes are compliant with GxP, regulatory standards, and internal quality procedures.

Review and interpret analytical data, preparing reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and regulatory submissions.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives in physicochemical characterization techniques and processes.

Serve as the subject matter expert in physicochemical characterization during audits and regulatory inspections.
