Role Purpose

Team Member-RND-Analytical Sciences-Functional Characterization: Focuses on evaluating the functional properties of biomolecules. Responsibilities include designing and conducting experiments to assess biological activity, analyzing functional data, and interpreting results to support product development and biosimilarity assessment. The role ensures that functional attributes meet the necessary standards and regulatory requirements. Duties also include conducting experiments for method development, qualification and transfer to QC. Adherence to good documentation and data integrity practices.

Job Responsibility and key Decisions

Perform functional characterization of pharmaceutical products, including assays for potency, stability, and bioactivity.

Develop and optimize analytical methods for the assessment of drug substance and drug product performance.

Conduct experiments to evaluate the physical, chemical, and biological properties of compounds.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support product development and troubleshooting.

Analyse and interpret data, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal standards.

Prepare detailed reports and documentation for regulatory submissions and internal review.

Ensure quality control and compliance with GxP, SOPs, and other regulatory requirements.
