Job Responsibility and key Decisions

Key Responsibilities

Governance Framework Development

Define, implement, and continuously improve IT governance policies, standards, and procedures.

Ensure alignment of IT governance with corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Risk Compliance Management

Lead IT risk assessments and mitigation strategies.

Manage vendor risk assessments and thirdparty governance.

Ensure IT compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

IT Audit Controls

Coordinate internal and external IT audits.

Manage remediation plans for audit findings.

Maintain documentation and evidence for compliance and audits.

Performance Monitoring Reporting

Develop and maintain IT governance dashboards and KPIs.

Report IT governance status, risks, and compliance metrics to senior management.

Change Configuration Governance

Oversee governance of IT change management processes.

Ensure configuration management databases CMDB are accurate and maintained.

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with IT, Quality, Compliance, Legal, and business units.

Promote awareness and adherence to IT governance policies.

Continuous Improvement

Identify gaps and drive initiatives to strengthen IT governance maturity.

Foster a culture of accountability and transparency in IT operations.

Key Decisions

Approve or recommend IT governance policies and standards.

Prioritize IT risks and remediation efforts.

Decide on acceptance of residual risks.

Approve governancerelated resource allocation and investments.

Determine escalation of governance issues to executive leadership.
