Job Responsibility and key Decisions

Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of process equipment as per schedule or instructions.

Support breakdown maintenance activities to restore equipment function in a timely manner.

Assist in installation, removal, or replacement of mechanical components or entire equipment units.

Follow SOPs and maintenance procedures while ensuring adherence to cGMP and safety standards.

Record maintenance activities, observations, and actions taken in logbooks and job cards.

Assist during equipment qualification, validation, and calibration tasks when required.

Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the maintenance work area and tools.

Ensure proper handling and storage of spare parts and tools.

Report any deviations, unsafe conditions, or equipment abnormalities to the supervisor immediately.

Participate in regular training and toolbox talks related to equipment maintenance and safety.

Key Decisions

Identifying and reporting potential mechanical issues or deviations before they escalate.

Determining when to escalate an equipment failure or maintenance challenge to the supervisor.

Ensuring maintenance work is completed and documented correctly.

Proposing minor improvements or corrections in repetitive breakdowns or maintenance procedures.
